Japanese Studies - 21/01/2012

Wow, I've just realised how late this post is, it should have gone up at the weekend, going to make this a quick one then...
This lesson was about an insurance salewoman cold-calling people, trying to get them to take out an insurance policy. As you would expect however, most of the people just hung up or said 'no thanks'.
The grammar note of this lesson was about talking to yourself, and that you should only use the plain form (which is quite obvious, as you would never talk to yourself politely!). Oddly, the plain form is one of the forms I struggle to use, but is quite a common problem for beginners to Japanese as it is similar to informal Japanese, which I really can't use!
