As I have not been able to post as often as I would like recently I have missed quite a few pieces of quite big news, and this is one of those news articles I wish I had noticed sooner.
The UK Anime distributor Manga Entertainment have announced that the complete first series of Dragon Ball Z is due to be released on the 2nd July 2012. The DVD's will be a 12 certificate and will RRP at £34.99. One of the biggest selling features of the release, besides being the first time the full series will be available on DVD in the UK, is that it will be digitally remastered and "captured in high-definition widescreen".
But wait, there's more! Not only is the first series being released, but dates are being set for EVERY Dragon Ball Z series DVD release over the next 18months. They are as follows:

Series 3 - 1st October 2012
Series 4 - 5th November 2012
Series 5 - 7th Jan 2013
Series 6 - 11th March 2013
Series 7 - 13th May 2013
Series 8 - 15th July 2013
